Pricing a 30-second film without guessing

How I turn a brief into a fixed price in a day, and the three questions that move the number the most.

I quote fixed prices. Not day rates, not estimates with an asterisk. Clients plan better when the number doesn’t move, and so do I.

The three questions

How many unique sets? How many hero shots versus cutdowns? And is there a real product I have to match, or a CAD file I can trust? Those three answers set about 80% of the price.

What’s included

Styleframes, a timed animatic, two rounds of changes on the animation, one on the grade, and the project files. Anything beyond that is written into the brief before we start, never discovered in week four.
